Hanan Al Muhairi graduated from Dubai Women’s College (DWC) in June 2008, with 
a Distinction with Honours in a Bachelor degree in Applied Sciences and Applied Media Communications. During her internship she successfully produced two video documentaries. Impressed by her achievements, she was invited to join the Dubai Police General Headquarters by General Commander Dhai Khalfan, where she is currently working. Hanan is simultaneously doing her Masters in Strategic Human Resources Management at Wollongong University in Dubai. This multi-talented lady is also a holder of the Hollywood Institute Director and Producer diploma certificate. Hanan’s interest in the equestrian field began when she participated in a photography competition in 2005 and won 1st place, the award of which was handed to her by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This competition focused on still photography at one of the endurance races that was held in Seeh Al Salem. Following this Hanan received an offer from Al Ahli Horse Riding Club to be the main organizer for an event called The UAE Love and Faith Trip which she duly accepted and ensured that this event was a huge success. 
The UAE Love and Faith Trip was about seven female riders of Arab origin who wanted to pay their tribute to UAE and its rulers. The trip started in Al Fujairah, in the north of the UAE, and culminated successfully in Abu Dhabi 15 days later. Hanan, who is the president of Arabyana Horse Riding Team, has always had a strong passion for horses since she was a little child started her equestrian training in June 2006. She is now training at Emirates Equestrian Centre in the areas of both progressive riding and horse care and stable management. She has successfully passed tests 1 and 2 in progressive riding based on the British Horse Society System. She is also the director of ‘Arabyana’, a feature film documentary which highlights the challenges that women face in the equestrian field. This documentary received the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai. The premiere show of Ms. Al Muhairi’s documentary got the sponsorship from Dr. Suliman Al Fahim, the Ambassador of Goodwill in the United Nations, Hydra and the United Nations. ‘Arabyana’ - the latest documentary that was directed by Ms Al Muhairi had its first screening at Atlantis The Palm, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world on 13th April 2009. The second screening of the documentary is scheduled to be at Adco in Abu Dhabi and the third screening will be in United States in August 2009.
